HOLIDAY!!!

The best thing about summer, for me, is definitely going on holiday! for the past 5-6 years we have gone camping for the big family holiday, but this year my mum and dad decided to surprise us by going abroad!!! Now don't get me wrong, I absolutely love camping, but there's something about going abroad that just makes summer feel like summer - I don't know what it is but when we go camping it just doesn't feel like a proper summer holiday - yeah, there's a beach, but because we are in England it's pebbly, and don't even get me started on the car ride, normally its about a 6 hour car ride and what makes that worse is that I get really bad travel sickness, soooo... I end up being sick which completely ruins the start of the holiday :(  I just can't wait to get on the plane - plus I'm going to vlog the whole thing, and I've never ever volgged before!!!  another reason I waned to go abroad again was because of the pool, I love the pool and I love sunbathing and just chilling with no cares in the world :)  I can guarantee that this year is going to be least stressed holiday EVER.  Now for the sad part - where I'm going the Wi-Fi cost $22 per week and I really don't want to spend my money on Wi-Fi, plus I'm not taking my laptop or phone, so I wont be able to update my blog for the next 2 - 3 weeks!!! :( but when I get back I'm going to start making YouTube videos and really focus on this blog...    so see you in a few weeks, plus ill take lots and lots of pictures, so you can see how much fun we had! BYE!!!

walks...

walking... to me its the most pointless activity ever and such a waste of time, even though I do it all the time!  I walk home from school, when I go into town I walk into and around town, I walk to my friend's house and I walk around my house and the street all the time, but I just really hate it!  What I hate most about walking is when I'm in town and there is old people in front of me walking at 2 mph, and normally there's two or three of them so there is no way to get past them... anyways, last week, my friend asked me if I wanted to go on a walk, so me being me said no, then made up a really lame excuse that I had a lot of homework not realising that my friend was in all of the same lessons as me, so she obviously didn't believe me.  later that night she text me asking if I wanted to go for a walk, so just as before I told her I had a lot of homework, but just as before she didn't believe me, I don't know how but she eventually persuaded me to come out and go on a little walk, so we went to a small woodlands which is nearby.  I'm really glad she persuaded me to go out now because the walk was amazing, we climbed to the top of this hill thing and the view was perfect.  while there I took some pictures (well what else would I do?).  I have to admit, that little walk has completely changed my view about walking.

comfiest slippers ever?

I can guarantee that every single Christmas I end up getting a pair of slippers that I wear for about 2-3 weeks and then throw them to the back of the cupboard.  I don't know what it is about slippers but I HATE them! I've gone through so many pairs, I've had character slippers, snail slippers, Christmas slippers, animal slippers, and plain boring slippers but I just never ever wear them.  recently I went into Primark, while there we walked past the pyjama section and they had a whole load of Disney slippers on sale, so we picked some up, me and my sister got Minnie mouse and my mum got Kermit.  when we got home I put them on thinking they would be the most irritating slippers ever, but oh no, they were AMAZING, they've completely changed my view on slippers and they where only £3, they are the comfiest slippers EVER!!! I think that they are better for the winter as they're fluffy inside them.  but they're perfect because they are just the right length for tucking your pyjama pants into AND you can put them over your onesie! I just love them, and would definitely recommend them <3

Creating my quote wall

last year when I decorated my room I decided that I wanted a quote wall.  I decided that I was going to do create my quote wall on my main wall and have it as a kind of feature wall for my room.  I also decided that I would write out the quotes myself!  Soon after I had decorated my room I began writing out my quotes, I had it in my head where each one would go and it was going to look amazing.  I already had posters on my walls of my favourite bands and singers - and Joey Essex obvs, but after I explained to everyone what my plans where, my sister didn't want to go ahead with it being on the walls and because I share a room with her I had to take her views into consideration and think of another way that I could still create my quote wall but not have it on the walls, so I decided to put them on the inside door of the wardrobe.  I knew that this would be a good place because I can still see them and my wardrobe doors are open most of the time because I store basically EVERYTHING in there!  so I carried on creating these little pieces of paper with small quotes on.  I then stuck them on my wardrobe door, but there were still lots of spaces and I didn't like it so I carried on them making the little quotes because I wanted to fill up the whole door!  I managed to make just the right amount to fill up the whole door.  It took me almost 6 months to complete it, the reason for this was because I made half of the quotes in around 1 month  and then the rest over 5 months, I don't know why I did this but I regret it because I should have just done all of the quotes in the first month so I could have just got it done... but I do really like it and every time I need to look at something that makes me happy I just look at my quote wall.  I do have to admit that my favourite quotes are the peter pan ones at the bottom of the door.  I really liked the fault in our stars quotes that much that i only wrote one on my quote wall and wrote the rest of the quotes out of the book and  film on a piece of paper and created a poster to put on my wall.

I found a coke bottle with my name on it!!! (well my dad found it)

last summer coca cola had the amazing idea of putting people's names on the bottles.  I thought that this was a great idea until I realised they had only chosen the most 100 popular names, which annoyed me because Shannon isn't a very popular name so it was obvious that my name wouldn't be on the bottles!  I then decided to go and look at the website because there was a list of all the names that were printed out onto the bottles, only to be disappointed :'( After a few weeks coke decided to stop printing the names on the bottles and went back to the original designs.  A couple of weeks ago I decided to go into town and there was a massive coke advert claiming that for the summer coke were going to print the names again (maybe because of how popular it had been last summer), anyways I decided not to take much interest because I knew that I would only be disappointed again.  later that month  my dad texted me saying "I have a present for you, you're going to love it!" so I got a little excited, later that day he came home and took out a coke bottle out of his bag and gave it to me, I had no idea it was the present, but I turned it round to open it and as I did I saw the 'share a coke with' sign and there it was, in massive red letters, SHANNON! I couldn't believe it, who knew that such a small thing could make me so happy well to say that I was happy was such an understatement...

So I'm going to tell you a bit about myself   ^_^

My name is Shannon (aka Queen Beeee), I am 15 years old and I live in England. I'm really awkward. I have an older brother called Owen who is 17 and a younger sister called Molly who is 10.  I go to rangers and love camping. I have a dog called Scoobie and two rabbits called Flopsy and Spot.  I really really really really like Joey Essex and I'm addicted to watching 'The Only Way Is Essex'.  All I seem to do is go on instagram, snapchat and YouTube.  My favourite YouTubers are: Caspar Lee, Joe Sugg, Alfie Dayes, Troye Sivan, Tyler Oakley, Zoe Sugg, Tanya Burr, Jim Chapman, Marcus Butler etc. My favourite bands have to be: The Vamps, Five Seconds Of Summer and Busted and my favourite song at the minute has to be Amnesia by Five Seconds Of Summer.   I like anything to do with make up and fashion, and want to become a fashion designer and travel the world when I'm older. my favourite fashion designer has to be Henry Holland.  My favourite animal is a pug.  My favourite films are Peter Pan, Nick and Norah's infinite playlist and The fault in our stars.  My favourite book is The Fault In Our Stars. I started this blog because I wanted a place where I could be myself and meet new people, I'm also starting my YouTube channel and I'm going to vlog my holiday, so I thought 'why not create a blog that I can write on and a YouTube channel that I can film videos on!'.  And I think that's it, everything that you need to know about me! If you would like to follow me on instagram, my instagram name is @_imcalledshannon_  and my snapchat is @Shannon_plantx

Organising my jewellery

When it comes to organising my jewellery I'm the worst! I've always used a jewellery box but this results in it being left on the shelf, unopened and untouched.  Its only just occurred to me that I never wear jewellery and I've realised this is because of two reasons: the first reason is because of school, one of the school rules is that you can't wear jewellery, so the only time I get to wear any is at the weekends and in the holidays when I'm off, the second reason is that it is locked away in a jewellery box so I just forget about it and never think of putting it on.  I've had a notice board now for a few years, I originally got it when I joined my secondary school.  originally I bought it for important notices/ letters and homework, but that lasted for about a week.  As I went into my fourth year of secondary school I started my exams and was given exam timetables so I pinned them onto it so that's all it was used for!  I decided that I needed to do something with this notice board and I needed to display my jewellery so that it was easier to get to and looked more appealing.  I sent my mum on a mission to get me some cool pins and she came back with some ladybird ones, I then organised them on my notice board so they looked nice, I then went to my jewellery box and picked out my favourite pieces of jewellery  and put them over my pins so they looked eye-catching.  I have found this a lot easier and I can now see my jewellery, I am on holiday from school so this was the perfect time to sort my jewellery out because I'll be wearing it a lot.
